Hello everyone, I am a displaced worker. I live in Canton Ohio home of the Football Hall of Fame. I have been with Kaplan for two semisters. I hope to get my degree in May of 2010. I am married to a wonderful man and we have to great dogs, we like to think of as our little ones. I hope to hear from all of my classmates to learn about them and become Kaplan friends and long life class mates.
Hi Sally! I think I'm getting a little control on how to navigate this Blogging thing! I have a sister who lives in Mentor, Ohio. Is that anywhere near you? What is your career choice? I am hoping to get my asscociates in Medical Office. I still have another year to go. What kind of dog children do you have? I absolutly love my 2 fur kids. They sleep with "mommy" every night. Not much room for the hubby! I am hoping to be able to post a picture of myself soon, so I wont have to be a gray shadow. For Comp 2 I have chosen to write about Alzheimers, a form of dementia. It should be an interesting time of research and composition. A challenge I'm nervous about. I did very well in Comp 1, so maybe this will be easier. If you know of any resourses let me know. Hi Mary, Mentor is about 45 minutes from Canton Ohio. My career choice is Medical Office also. My two babies are two mix bread dogs. My little female (cupcake) is three years of age. My little male (Cleveland) is two years of age. Both mommy's little heinz 57 special dogs. Yes my cupcake sleeps with me and Cleveland sleeps with my son who is 25 years of age. And yes my favorite John (husband) of 9 nine years. I hope I can get the hang of blogging. This is just too hard for me.
Hello Tara it is nice to know that someone from my part of the world is going to Kaplan University. I went to Canton South High School. Back in the day these two schools where rivals. Today the rivalry is between Canton Mckinley and Massillon High School. Sorry to hear that Massillon and Mckinley game saturday (11/21/2009). If you read my profile then you know that I am 53 years of age. I love football no matter what level it is. I am so glad that you wrote to me.
Hey Sally! Happy Thanksgiving!! I do agree this blogging thing is a bit time consuming, along with the discussions, research, and writing, but it's good also because we can all learn about each other and form friendships. I prefer using the AIM because you can have instant communication. So, are you cooking the bird today?? I am, and I promised the fur kids they can have the legs!! It's cool that we are both taking the medical office courses. What made you go back to school? I was doing some banking on-line and this window opened for colleges and I just filled it out for information. I had just completed my state tests for a CNA and did well on that, and figured someday I may be interested. But at my age it would be unlikely. Next thing I know a lady calls and I'm enrolled!! It's amazing how the Lord works! And the fact that I'm actually doing it! And now we're blogging, who would have ever guessed! Anyway, have a wonderful day. See ya in class!
