I hope everyone has enjoyed their Thanksgiving day.
Now all that is left is the cleaning up.
We are now in unit 3, we must think of a thesis statement and get each others opinions to make it a better thesis statement. I am doing my topic on "Effects of Diabetes and
Diabetic Medications on the Organs of the Human Body."
I think my thesis statement should be, "Diabetes and the medication taken to control the sugar level has and causes side effects, damage to human organs, and may develope into medicine allergies."
Please help me in making my thesis statement stronger and better. Your opinion will be greatly appriciated.

ReplyDeleteI am still suffering from eating too much! I am not used to eating a big meal. It will take days for my stomach to process all of this! You have picked an excellent topic. It would be very interesting to learn about the dangers of this condition and the medications required to control it. I have always been curious as to why they have to be careful of their feet. I'm not sure what happens, but I know something goes on with the feet. If you don't mind, I came up with a suggestion for your thesis.
Medications to control diabetes are effective in maintaining blood sugar levels; however, the side effects, damage to organs, and possible medication allergies must be closely monitored.
It is just a thought to make the statement more impacting. Hope this helps. I look forward to learning more about this condition from your paper.

ReplyDeleteNow we are starting unit 4 for this class. I am starting to do my outline so I can get my rough draft going. I have never been good in writing. So to me this is very hard. I really do appriciate your thesis idea, it is really good. I would not have thought of this as my thesis statment. My husband said that I try to hard to be perfect. He said that I need to not think so much and write my first thoughts first.
